hastings net huts
A personal project recreating our favourite net huts that stand tall on Hastings seafront. The Net Huts were intrinsic to the British Coastal Industry and they originate from the 16th century. They were first used to store nets for catching mackerel and herring.
We couldn’t resist in recreating these into miniature form. We now stock this kit in the Hasting’s Contemporary, formally known as the Jerwood.
