The Gritterman
A personal project inspired by the wonderful book by Orlando Weeks.
After reading and loving Orlando Weeks’ book ‘The Gritterman’ we decided to a build a 60cmx40cm Z-scale layout inspired by buildings described in the book. This included a Post Office, a pub, vets, snooker hall, woodyard, garage and police station. We used LED and fibre optic lights to create realistic lighting in the houses and fairy lights on trees to reflect the Christmas magic of the book.
